2016 Principals' Exams Sked



The 2016 Principals' Test is to be given on November 6, 2016, according to DepEd Memorandum NO. 80, s. 2016 issued on May 17, 2016, by the Department of Education (DepEd).

This is open to all applicants for a Principal 1 position. Passing this test is one of the requirements for appointment to a Principal position.

Eligibility

Those test-takers should have any of the following eligibility:

  • One year as Head Teacher; or
  • Two years as Teacher-in-Charge or Master Teacher; or
  • Five Years as Teacher III or SPED Teacher; or
  • Five years as incumbent public school teachers who has five years of managerial and supervisory experience in a DepEd recognized institution or Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognized higher education institution.

Coverage of the Test

The examination shall cover situational critical thinking questions relevant to the role of SH in the following domains: School Leadership, Instructional Leadership, Creating Student-Centered Learning Climate, Human Resource Management and Professional Development, Parent Involvement and Community Partnership, School Management and Operations, and Personal and Professional Attributes and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

70% passing grade in all domains is required to pass the examination.

2012 ALS Acceleration and Equivalency Test Passers


Two hundred thirty-two Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners passed the Acceleration & Equivalency (A&E) Test given at La Carlota South Elementary School 1, La Carlota City, December 9, 2012.

18 of these were in the elementary and 203 in the secondary.

In which 142 takers belong to the Division of La Carlota City broken down as follows: 9 in elementary and 133 in secondary. Thus, making it to 61% of passers for the La Carlota ALS learners.

Prayer Yields Results

Ferdinand Sy, Office In-charge of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of La Carlota City has composed a prayer for the grades three and six pupils of the 23 elementary schools in the Division of La Carlota City, who will take the National Achievement Test (NAT) this March 2 and 4 respectively.

Mr. Sy's prayer is so reflective of his sincere concern with those pupil-examinees. He wants to help them make good with their examinations. And this prayer is his manifestation on how he cares and loves those pupils in a simple and humble way of entreating the Lord for the blessings. He calls it -
