DepED La Carlota Teachers' Day Celebration

The continuous rain brought by typhoon "Marcel" didn't hamper the teachers of the Division of La Carlota City who paraded at the main thoroughfares of the city to kick off their culminating activities for the World Teachers' Day celebration.

These teachers in their respective district uniform converged at the covered court of former La Carlota City High School, now Doña Hortencia Salas Benedicto National High School to have their program to join with the rest of the teachers of the world to celebrate the World Teachers' Day

At 10:05 in the morning, a long blast of the siren was sounded to signify the synchronized day of observing the world teachers' day all over the Philippines and with a  recitation of national prayer for the teacher followed to edify the very purpose of honoring the teachers in their invaluable efforts and service as a true molder of character and giving them time to enjoy for themselves.
