5 Factors for Effective Values Education and Transformation

The ills of society are properly resolved and are well acted upon for the better if not the best solutions when every member of the society is helping each other. Everyone is doing their moral, educational, temporal and spiritual duties and responsibilities.

The pupils of Cubay Elementary School seemed to be benefited with these opportunities to grow and to strengthen their well-being as a law-abiding citizen, as strong faith believer and as a well-educated or well-informed members of the community.

These efforts were facilitated by the concerned representative of the police department, the religious sector, and the health team of the division of La Carlota City, Department of Education.

Everything was facilitated and every pupil was assisted, fed, and motivated to be a better citizen of his community where he lives.

Feeding: Madam Rosa's Little Help

Madam Rosa Abaygar Formby, benefactor of Cubay Elem. School, Division of La Carlota City, this morning extended a little help to the pupils by feeding them nutritiously hot arroz con caldo.

Vendors outside the school were also benefited from the said feeding. And the rest of teachers availed of the feeding too.

The school children line up in the facade of the school main building and took their turn in receiving their bowl-full feeding and a piece of bread.

After the feeding session, the school principal who is the author of RandomThoughts! met with all his teachers in his office and informed them the initiative of Madam Formby in selecting Cubay Elem. School as one of her feeding program recipients.

David Baga, vice mayor of La Carlota City has included Cubay Elem. School in his priority list of elementary schools in the division of La Carlota City as one the beneficiaries of his feeding program.

VM Baga personally delivers an initial sack of first class rice and a piece of dressed chicken to the school. Mr. Gilbor Camporazo, the school principal and Ashley Rose Capispisan, president of school pupil government receive the feeding support in a simple ceremony done at the office of the school principal.

Baga said that Cubay Elem. School is one of the 15 elementary schools in the division of La Carlota City for his feeding program. The program will be continued till the next school year. The rice and other feeding supplement are just the initial supplies distributed. When the supplies run out, they will be replenished. The program will be monitored to make it sustainable, the vice mayor said.
