I keep on working with my family tree. That's not only for me to trace back my forebears to past generations, but for my children, children's children.I am also getting the cooperation of my closed relatives and even friends for this project.
I slept late last night by updating our family lineage. I sent messages to my nieces, nephews, cousins, and closed relatives via messenger. By the time, I received their family data, I right away encode it to a Personal Ancestral File (PAF) software offline. Though it's outdated but yet it has served the purpose. And I could access it anytime if I want.
As soon as I have collated all those things I will transfer them to FamilySearch site online. It's a free site which you could discover your family history. It's the world's largest collection of free family trees, genealogy records and resources. This facilitates on finding our family, living and dead once they are encoded there.
Whether you are a member of The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints or not, you can access that site. You could work with your own family lineage, come up with a family tree and some posterity images about your ancestors. We are doing this for we believe that families could be together forever.
Are you working with your family lineage? How far have you gone? Due to unavailability of family records or persons to be contacted, I have just reached the third generation of my family. It is good for my grandchildren, if this genealogy I am working with, could reach beyond the fourth generation.
Pictures could also be uploaded in FamilySearch site. That will aid the future generations to see their ancestors, though not in person but in pictures. It is just like putting the past generation back to the present time. How's that? Are you not happy about it?
Another good feature or things to be done in the FamilySearch is indexing. It is the best thing to do to aid the searchers to easily find their family records once they are being indexed.
