When I was a kid I like to play a teacher. I gathered my fellow kids in the neighborhood and acted as a teacher for them. I put up an improvised blackboard. I gave them several pieces of paper and pencils to use after the class to evaluate them. I was also too strict with them as what I had observed from my teachers at school.
When I completed my high school studies, I right away enrolled to education course, particularly the elementary education. I had completed my enrollment and attended a week of classes. When my elder brother learned that I took up education course, he told me to shift to commerce course. He told me that there were a lot of books and references available in our close relatives house.
I had no choice, but to follow him and completed the 4-year degree of commerce course with flying colors for I was the top academic student in our class. Luckily, I got a job in our local bank. I worked for 5 years for I never gave up of taking my first preferred vocation of being a teacher.
When I was off from my bank job, I studied in the college until I finished it by studying part time. I took the teacher’s board and passed. I resigned from the bank, applied in the Division Office and I was hired. I have never failed myself of my favorite vocation to be a teacher to the kids.
