Here goes another educational journey to my new 4th school assignment, NAGASI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Division of La Carlota City. It envisions to produce a pupil who is respectful to human rights, whose discipline is guided by spiritual and moral values, who can think critically and creatively among others. The place where the school is located has influenced me much on my spiritual awareness that initially brought me back to God fearing and dependency.
I have never dreamed that I would be assigned to Nagasi Elementary School as a school principal for I have been there in Nagasi in 1972. I stayed there with my friend and college mate, Hernani Osorio who is a pastor assigned in the said place. We slept at the house of the late former Punong Barangay Aurelio "Awi" Duenas. I joined with him there for I was in a great trouble.
While we are sleeping, we discussed some passages in the Bible and relayed to our personal experience the important application to our day-to-day way of living. During his service, I played the guitar to accompany the congregation while they're singing. And the rest was a history of my dark life as a student in which I was able to overcome as the Lord wants me to be.
I have 17 teachers. Grade 1: Mr. Richard Pacheco and Mrs. Soledad Loverez, Grade 2: Mrs. Teresita Bajala and Miss Anita Albay, Grade 3: Mrs. Teresita Quima and Mr. Melvin Argones, Grade 4: Mrs. Joanna Montemar, Miss Gemma Salazar and Mrs. Liezl Orano, Grade 5: Mrs. Aileen Estacio, Mr. Teofilo Villanueva and Mrs. Vivian Deang, Grade 6: Mrs. Febe Gareza and Mrs. Jessie Alojamento, Relief teachers: Mrs. Norma Base. Kinder teachers: Mrs. Elisa Alvarez and Mrs. Juanita Pangadlo.
It was indeed surprising the day when I was welcome to the school by the Barangay led by Punong Barangay Bebot and the teaching staff led by their President Teofilo Villanueva. I couldn't forget that moment.
Another momentous time which I couldn't forget was the day I visited the school before the formal opening of the school year 2008 - 2009. I took some pictures and put them in a slide video. Followed lis the video - New Environs, second Look to my 4th school assignment before I officially assumed office as the new school principal.

Thank you pupils, parents, my dear teachers who are my friends, and also thank you former Punong Barangay Bebot Senares for the all-out support including the whole Barangay Council members. Madamu gid nga salamat sa inyo tanan. (Thank you very much to all of you.).
Next educational journey is a school principal is Cubay Elementary School. This is more or less 5 kilometers away from the city proper of La Carlota. It could be reached through motorized tricycle. From the high way, it takes about 300 meters or a 15 to 20-minute walk.
