Getting pregnant again?

There are married couples after having a first baby find it hard to have another child because of infertility for they wanted to have another one child, or those married women whose age is 40. Could they get pregnant again?

Many of us have the idea of what infertility is but only few know what secondary infertility is. Secondary infertility is a condition where the couple was able to get pregnant without trouble when they were trying to conceive with their first born but is now having difficulty getting pregnant with baby #2. Many may not understand the pain a couple is experiencing because some of them will think that “at least you have a baby”, but that is not always the case for couple with secondary infertility. Sometimes these couples feel more devastated because they don’t know what the problem is.

Our friends in www.pregnancytips.org say that there are several reasons for secondary infertility. One of these is age. As the woman gets older, her fertility decreases. Another possible reason for secondary infertility is lifestyle choice –canned, processed and junk foods are a no no when it comes to trying to conceive as well as smoking, drinking alcohol and taking illegal drugs. A couple should choose to have a healthy lifestyle in order to boost their chances at conceiving again.

I am hoping those couples with infertility problem may have now the solution and could have another baby again after reading this.

  1. I consider myself lucky to not have trouble conceiving (it's the opposite for me as I easily get pregnant). I agree, age, lifestyle (drugs, smoking and drinking) and stress can affect one's chances. I'm not sure about diet though.

  2. I agree. Certain lifestyle factors also can have a negative effect on a woman's fertility.

  4. A person's lifestyle certainly affect their fertility and chance of convincing. Being healthy and staying fit will certainly help. We had some problems in the beginning and took us a while before we had our 3 kids.

  5. True, woman should eat healthy food. If the woman's body is healthy, it's easier to conceive. And also if the mother is healthy, the baby will be healthy too.

  6. At first it was difficult for me to conceive, but after I had my first son, I already know my cycle does, the 2nd and 3rd pregnancy was easy. My problem is bringing the baby to term. I lost my 2nd child and the 1st and the 3rd are all pre-termed.

  8. Lifestyle certainly affects infertility. I heard that women who got this high cholesterol and high blood pressure will find it hard to get pregnant again.
