The school principal, the author profoundly acknowledged the active participation of the external and internal stakeholders for the success of the first day of school maintenance week. He was confident that there will be more things to be achieved for the school when everyone will work hand in hand as inspired by the prayer of faith for the success of this program.

Jun Jun Badillo in particular was amendable to adopt the Cubay Elementary School for its successful educational endeavor for the pupils when he was challenged by District II supervisor Arranguez. I could sense how sincere councilor Jun Jun Badillo is by the way he reacts and by the way he answers some of my queries on pupils' welfare and school facilities.

Brigada Eskwela

Brigada Eskwela is now in its decade of effective national school maintenance. It started in 2003 as a nationwide voluntary effort in bringing together teachers, parents, and the community to do clean up and repairs in public schools to prepare the facilities for the June school opening.

This year Brigada Eskwela's theme is "Isang Dekada ng Bayanihan sa Paaralan."

Brigada Eskwela did exist not only for school facilities maintenance but also for the public to share their time, strength and resources in kind as pointed out by DepEd secretary Armin Luistro in a press release from DepEd date May 20, 2013.
