How To Renew Professional License

Professionals especially teachers here in the PH could find it easy now to renew their professional license ID as facilitated by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) here in the Philippines.

professionals in the Philippines
The professionals are now given two options on what to avail of to process the renewal of their professional ID according to the revised procedure issued by PRC dated July 18, 2012. For a regular licensees, they must set aside Php 450.00 for renewal fee. But for those who have delayed renewal, Php 30.00 is required for monthly penalty.

First, the professionals may go to the PRC central and regional offices nearest to their residence. If unavailable, they may authorize a representative through special power of attorney (SPA) to file for them

Second, they may go to any SM malls around the country. Usually, it is located at the service center kiosk of SM.

Steps to Follow

The basic steps may include the following:

1. Securing a renewal printed form and filling it up.
2. Paying necessary assessment fees like renewal, photo and others.
3. Processing online. (ID may be claimed from PRC office, regional offices or through mail depending on the personal request of the professional.)

The usual renewal fee is Php 450.00 and for the delay a penalty of Php 30.00 per month is charged. (This is subject for any changes which are unavailable as of this posting). An affordable additional fee is charged when it is renewed at SM mall for accommodation fee and others.

  1. It's much easier to renew license now. For me, I just send my documents to Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and let them process my renewal.

    1. Just give your mother a special power of attorney (SPA) to act in your behalf and it will be processed. Just send her a photo of yours with a name tag below your bust picture.

  4. I love it...now professional like you Sir has an easy way to renew your license. There are many SM branches and am sure there is one close to where you live :-) 450 pesos is affordable renewal fees but make it sure you have to renew b4 it expires or else you pay the 30.00 more each month :-)

  6. My daughter's license ID card has already arrived this morning via LBC. It took one month and 7 days to receive. It is good enough thought, rather than 3 months as the processor in SM mall usually informed those who are renewing their license.
