TAKE the CROSS Now!

Christ's Resurrection
CROSS for me is an acrostic for Christ's Resurrection On Soul Searching.

In the Bible, the risen Jesus says to Mary Magdalene, "Touch Me Not" for I have not gone yet to my Father in heaven. And further He says to her to let His disciples know that He has ascended to His Father's House in heaven. (John 20:17, KJV)

Christ's resurrection is a gift for the dead and the "living" dead that they shall be living again and shall be given another chance to prove therewith of their faith and belief with Jesus Christ as Savior of mankind. If Jesus hadn't risen from the dead, then those fallen before and after the end of world shall have no chance to be saved from their sins and be there at the mansions prepared for them in their Father's kingdom. (1 Corinthians 15:13, KJV)

Now we, the living, and the "living" dead are apt to what?

Christian nations especially the Catholics traditionally observe Lenten Seasons to recollecting Jesus' week-long ministry until His crucifixion at the Calvary. That's Paganism. What I want to point out here is the soul-searching aspect of Jesus' earthly ministry or mission for those who don't have the truth (the "living" dead) - the truthfulness of the gospel.

Christ's rising from the dead fulfills the law of God. In Adam, all men die; in Christ all live.

Now, Let's TAKE the way of the CROSS by plainly doing the following things:

Taking upon you the name of Jesus Christ. By accepting Jesus as your personal savior and redeemer, having faith in Him for all your endeavors, repenting all of your sins and being baptized, you've set your foot in the right direction for your salvation.

Always remembering Him. Jesus is the Only Begotten of our Heavenly Father. He has atoned for us for our sins. He's the greatest unfeigned love of our Heavenly Father manifested to redeem us from our fallen state of damnation. No one comes to His Father in heaven except through Jesus. Thus, we should testify of Him.

Keeping all His commandments. Ten commandments are basic laws given by God through Moses. But when Jesus comes, these great commandments have categorized into two: "Love the Lord thy God" and "Love thy neighbour as thyself" (Matthew 22:37-39, KJV) Revelations come anytime for God still communicates with His (living) prophets. The Mormons testify that their Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and they have a living prophet who receives revelations from God.

Enduring to the end. In any life's endeavor, a reward or achievement is not appreciated or received if those on the "race" could not complete it. Thus, God's promise is to give every believer eternal life. The Bible says God has loved the world that He sent His Only Son Jesus to be believed with and they will not die and have life eternal. Sacrifices, trials and challenges, and any form of tribulations are not hindrances for everyone to gain eternal life. But they are medium or vehicles for strengthening their weaknesses. In so doing he/she has to finish the "race" - his/her transitory life here on earth until Jesus come again or judgment day!

Now, therefore, we should TAKE this CROSS upon ourselves to save not only us, our family but the world and the "living" dead. Amen.
